Holz Prof L.t.d. is registered in Estonia company which is engaged in production, development and marketing of environmentally friendly chemical materials in widespread use in the woodworking industry and construction, in veterinary medicine, agriculture and forestry, as well as in the production of industrial and construction products. The production is ecologically safe for human beings and animals.

Latest Research (2011-2012)

Now in our laboratory we have developed several new fire retardants on the basis of the application of different nanometal and carried out successful tests on the improvement of fire retardant properties for wood and other containing cellulose materials.

Research 2010

• In March 2010 we have received a positive opinion on the financing of our project-EU 38104 in European research programms for new materials, together with our Finnish partners. Our project has passed international expertise in Europe within the framework of the European programme Eurostars, was also considered by EAU Estonia, where it was also decided on the financing of our programme of research and development of new types of fire-retardant materials with using of nanometals.

Research 2009

• In 2008-2009 in Finland, our material was researched by Finnish company HR ´-Prof, according to European standard EN ISO 9239-1, modification of flooring tile and flooring board by material Holz Prof  at the Institute of Savonia in Finland and has received the highest class of fire protection A2b.For the test our material compared to flame retardant properties with the product of Finnish company Vital Protect (considered to be the best Finnish manufacturer of flame retardants), as a result of the tests proved the superiority of fire-retardant properties of Holz Prof over the composition of the Vital Protect (Report 17.04.2009 Projekt EPM6SP).

Research 2008

• In early 2008 in Sweden by SP Technical Research Institute has been carried out a series of tests using NT Fire 053, 054 of many kinds of  wood, the method consisted of accelerated test under the influence of rainfall cycles, drying and UV radiation, the samples were tested in fire tests on conical calorimeter, test method ISO 5660.

Research 2007

• In 2007, were carried out additional tests in TÜV Nord Group Estonia Fire Laboratory to confirm high fire-retardant properties of Holz Prof product, when applying the material on the various species of wood and in various climatic conditions and at different temperatures (the wood was processed at low temperatures and in a humid environment), TUV SBI tests have been done TM-11/071, 11 June 2007 for spruce;TUV TM-05/071, 12 January 2007 for pine; TUV TM-06/07, 12 January 2007 for birch. All tests received high results (FIGRA 54.6, 107.2, 96.4 W/s respectively, and THR 3.6, 3.7, 5.4 MJ, FIGRA < 120 W/s, THR < 7.5 MJ).These testshaveproved the class-B s1d0.
